Sometimes scientific results come long after the research was started. We worked on the diastereoemric salt formation based optical resolution of chlormandelic acids, using supercritical carbon dioxide as antisolvent. To understand better the optical resolution system single we graw single crystals (what a trial and error game, be patient of lucky if you try it!) and gave that samples to the colleagues at Chemical Crystallography Research Laboratory.
